Subject: Create a Persona for Your YouTube Ad Campaign Targeting

Hi there!

“What is a persona?” you may ask.

A persona is your ideal customer: that 30-something
career woman who’s planning a garden this spring.

Personas are fictional characters, but they share
the same traits your ideal customer would have.

You can develop these based on target audience
research. They can really help you direct your
marketing actions better.

Creating a persona involves more research and effort
than coming up with your target audience.

You’ll be thinking about marketing power, lifestyle,
personal characteristics, interests, professional
information, and even their involvement in social
media.

Your personas will be fictional people who will be
very interested in your brand and will follow it.

You will want to make a definite effort to locate
these people, turn them into clients, and retain
them.

Let’s look at a persona based on this demographic:
30-something career woman.

Here’s what your persona might look like:

Edith, 34, office executive. She lives in Atlanta,
GA and raises tulips as a hobby. She makes six-figures
and regularly networks with other executives via Zoom.

Edith posts financial tips on her Instagram account
every week and has a Twitter account that she rarely
posts on.

By developing a few personas, you’ll have a much more
realistic idea of your target audience and can develop
ads aimed directly at your ideal customers.

With a little research and some brainstorming, you can
come up with several personas that will help you create
stronger, more targeted YouTube ads that convert!

In our next email, we’ll talk more about finding your
target audience.

Until then,
